How long does a manicure or pedicure usually take?

Most manicures take about 30–45 minutes, while pedicures usually last 45–60 minutes. If you’re adding extras like nail art or gel polish, the appointment may take a bit longer.

What is BIAB and why is it so popular?

BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) is a type of strengthening gel that helps your natural nails grow longer and stronger without the need for extensions. It’s applied like regular gel polish but gives extra durability, making it perfect if your nails are weak, brittle, or prone to breaking. BIAB is also more flexible than acrylic, so it feels lighter and more natural while still lasting 4+ weeks.

Is BIAB healthier for my nails compared to acrylic or gel?

Yes — BIAB is designed to support natural nail health. Unlike traditional acrylics, it’s more flexible, which means it moves with your nails instead of causing breakage. BIAB is also soak-off removable, so there’s no need for heavy filing or harsh chemicals. Over time, many clients notice their nails grow longer and stronger because BIAB adds a protective layer while still allowing the natural nail to thrive.

 What is the difference between Gel-X and Acrygel?

Gel-X is our preferred extension method, especially for nail biters. It can look slightly translucent with only a nude base, but extra coverage can be added. If you prefer a fully opaque look from the start, we recommend Acrygel.

 How long does gel polish last?

On average, gel polish lasts about two weeks. With strong nails and minimal hand use, it may last three to four weeks.

 How long does BIAB/Hard Gel last?

BIAB and Hard Gel add strength to your nails and usually last 3.5–5.5 weeks. Most clients return monthly for maintenance.

 What’s the difference between Hard Gel and BIAB?

Hard Gel is stronger and less flexible, while BIAB is more flexible. Our nail techs will recommend the best option based on your nails.

 Can I book a nail fix if I break one?

Yes, you can add a nail fix to your service.

 Do you offer medical pedicures?

No, we focus on cosmetic pedicures only.

 Can I book a toenail fix?

Yes, you can book one or two toenail fixes. For more than two, please contact us directly.

 Can you do short stiletto or coffin nails?

Your nail health is our priority. Very short/narrow shapes can weaken the nails and cause breakage. If you choose this style against our advice, we can’t guarantee durability and repairs will be at your own expense.

 Do you offer acrylic nails?

No, we don’t. Acrylics are not the healthiest option for clients or nail techs.

 Do you remove acrylic nails?

Yes, we offer safe acrylic removal so you can start fresh.

Can I get my nails done while pregnant?

Yes. Hormonal changes may affect product adhesion, but we use 12-free gels that are safe during pregnancy.

How should I care for my nails after my appointment?

Hydrate daily with cuticle oil, especially in colder months. Wear gloves when handling cleaning products, and remember: nails are not tools! Use proper tools instead of your nails to avoid damage.

Which design level should I book?

Level 1: Simple French, dots, chrome

Level 2: Double French, flowers, airbrush basic

Level 3–5: More detailed designs, 3D art, charms

Level 6–8: Intricate, time-intensive designs

Do you have wudu-friendly options?

Yes. We offer high-shine manicures and pedicures without polish, as well as custom press-ons for special occasions.

Will I receive a certificate after completing a course?

Yes! All of our professional courses and workshops include a certificate upon completion, which you can use to showcase your skills and enhance your career opportunities.

Are models and materials provided during the training?

Yes, models are provided for hands-on practice, and all necessary materials are supplied during the course so you can focus fully on learning.

Do I need any prior experience to join the courses?

No experience is required for most of our courses—beginners are welcome! Each program is designed to guide you step by step, while also offering advanced techniques for those looking to refine their skills.

Shipping & Returns

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Delivery times depend on your location and chosen shipping method, and you’ll receive tracking details once your order has shipped.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer international shipping. Please note that delivery times and shipping costs will vary by destination, and customs fees may apply.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Yes, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery if items are unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition received. Please note that digital courses and downloadable content are non-refundable.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand things come up. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of your 50% deposit.

 Is parking available at the salon?

Yes! Parking is available at meter 7351. On weekdays it’s €0.20 for the first two hours (you can restart the meter to extend). Parking is free on weekends and after 19:30 on weekdays.

 Can I reach the salon by public transport?

Yes. Take bus 1 or 2 to Station De Vink via Stevenshof and get off at Opaalstraat.

 Do you disinfect your tools?

Absolutely. We disinfect with hospital-grade products and sterilize with a high-heat autoclave to ensure complete safety.

 Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! We offer digital gift cards, and printed ones can be picked up in the salon. You can even add a nail care goodie bag.

 Are men welcome?

Of course — everyone is welcome at our salon.

Can I bring a guest to my appointment?

We recommend coming alone to keep the space calm. If you need to bring someone, please let us know in advance. Pets are not allowed.

 How can I pay?

We accept cash or Tikkie.

 Do you accept group reservations?

Yes, group bookings are available on request. Please contact us via WhatsApp for details.

Can I book an appointment for my child?

Services are available for clients 15 and older. We do not recommend nail treatments for younger children.

 Do you offer vegan gels?

Yes, we have a wide selection of vegan gels.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes. Appointments within the next 48 hours aren’t visible online but can be booked directly via WhatsApp.

What if I’m late to my appointment?

We allow a 15-minute grace period. After that, your appointment may be canceled and your deposit forfeited. If you’re running late, please let us know as soon as possible.
